Bulls & Bears of the Week: Asif Ali Sizzles With 62% Increase as Hales, Lyth Falter

Asif Ali had a stellar week in the PSL but it wasn't the case with Hales and Lyth! To find out more about the Sixer Market, check out the Bulls & Bears of the Week!

It was a big week in the Sixer Market, with cricket resuming after a brief hiatus. The start of T20 competitions such as the PSL and T20 Blast 2021 has seen demand rise in leaps and bounds, with a couple of players already delivering on the investment. As always, here are your Bulls and Bears of the Week in the Sixer Market!Bull #1: Asif Ali (Islamabad United)Asif Ali was the undoubted star of the Sixer Market with a whopping 62% increase during the week. Although his first few games against Lahore and Quetta saw him only score seven runs, he reserved his best for the Lahore Qalandars, a team that beat Islamabad in the reverse fixture.Asif Ali came into bat with the score at 20 for 5 with four overs of Rashid and overs from Shaheen and Rauf still in hand. But that didn't deter Asif at all. He smashed a whirlwind fifty while registering a superlative match score of 149.31. He took Rashid to the cleaners as the Afghan spinner ended wicketless for the first time in the UAE leg. With a 62% increase, Asif helped Islamabad get revenge over the Qalandars and should prove to be a handy asset going forward as well!Bear #1: Alex Hales (Nottinghamshire)Alex Hales was part of Islamabad United in the first phase of the PSL. However, due to his T20 Blast commitments, he couldn't feature for them in the UAE leg. But Hales hasn't really delivered in the first week of the T20 Blast so far.Hales is averaging a match score of just 13.46, courtesy of two woeful performances during the week. As a result, his price dropped significantly by 16.45%, the second-highest drop for a player in the Sixer Market this week. However, the former England international is known to be a slow starter in tournaments, opening up a possible opportunity to buy into this dip. With Nottinghamshire playing a heap of matches over the next few weeks and the fact that Hales is available for just 51.50 Sixer Coins per Share, it isn't a bad idea after all.Bull #2: Marnus Labuschagne (Glamorgan)It's been a week of comebacks in the Sixer Market, with Labuschagne returning to form after a turbulent County season. But what really came as a surprise was his effectiveness in the T20 format with Glamorgan.Labuschagne averaged a match score of 129.82 before the start of the week, resulting in a 37.39% increase in his fantasy stock price. In addition, Labuschagne already has three 100+ match scores in this season, with the latest coming against Sussex on Monday. Although he was overlooked for the white-ball tour of West Indies, Labuschagne has already proven his mettle with both bat and ball, making him a dark horse to make the cut for the ICC T20 World Cup later this year as well.Bear #2: Adam Lyth (Yorkshire)To our last name on the list, Adam Lyth continues to stutter in the Sixer Market. He makes the cut as a Bear for the third time in two months with an 18.46% decrease in fantasy stock price.Although Lyth had favourable match-ups, he could only muster a match score average of 10.40. However, his poor form has opened up more opportunities in the Sixer Market, given his price reads 47.00 Sixer Coins at the moment. With Yorkshire's big guns set to leave for international duty, Adam Lyth provides an excellent long-term option in the T20 Blast!
